Everything here gave me a sense of “home”. From the vintage furnitures, the cozy fireplace, the friendly staffs, to the simple yet delicious foods. We had borsch and fish soups for appetizer, chicken curry and breakfast omelette for main dish. They were all well prepared. The curry was very spicy so beware if you are not a big fan of hot foods. Besides, the hot mint chocolate drink actually contains mint liquor although it is listed under hot beverage.

Amazing presentation of the main dishes. Food is so delicious. Ambient is calm and nice smooth background music. Allways a place of choice to talk with friends during lunch.

Cold pasta, hectic serving, but nice atmosphere and friendly personnel.

Whether alone, a couple or with a large group, this is a wonderfully cosy restaurant. Really feels like you are at home, but with great table service, delicious meals plus lots and lots of drinks. Sitting in or outside, there's room for kids to play. Found the wallpaper in the toilet really interesting, it's newspaper from 1929! #WOWfactor!

pluses: normal food, cozy terrace if sun shines. minuses: small lunch portions and flies detected in considerable amounts flying inside the premises, staff told me they cannot get rid of flies.lol.

This is a small cosy cafe with a warm and home-like feel to it. They serve a nice variety of dishes for a cafe and a nice selection of cakes. They also have a big menu for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The servers are nice and friendly. The seating is comfortable and the view is not bad. They also have outdoor seating in the summer.

The biggest issue I saw after my visit is that it can get cold indoors during cold winters when people are leaving and entering a lot, though they do have a fireplace to counteract that but they were just lighting it when I was leaving.

Cody cafe/restaurant in Uus Maailm. Best place in the area for a quick lunch with deals below €5 with complimentary bread and water. Staff is friendly and speak English. They make a decent chicken curry too! The interior is very nice as it's an old wooden house with a genuine homey feeling. During summer they also have special grilled meat dishes.

Tasty local food in a very nice house. Breakfast omelette was great.
Prices are fair, service was good.
What else do you need when you eat in a hood? :)
