One of the places you should definitely visit when you are in Haapsalu, but there is nothing to do, especially in winter times. Better go here for some summer festivals

Pretty, but not much different from other medievel casle ruins in Baltic States!

Well preserved in places, with some sections of wall accessible via a steep staircase. Charge payable for the museum part.

Nice site. If you are already in Haapsalu you should visit it. Best if you do it in summer.

Historic place, now in ruins, but the cathedral intact. Nice park in the center of Haapsalu.

Really fun and interesting place to visit, if you're in to castle ruins. Kids loved it.

Very nice place, the tower looks like something picked from a children's book. (Actually, it is in a children's book)

Interesting place with lot of history behind it. Take a tour or ask any local to tell you more about the different folk stories and legends about the castle. Also the Church in the ruins is fully functional 😉
