The place is a boarding school during the shool year and hostel in the summer. The atmosphere is extremely impersonal and it felt a bit like a prison at first but the feeling passed once I got settled. Two single rooms shared a kitchen, so don't expect to meet a lot of other travellers but to have a lot of space for youself. Clean, nice staff, cheap, close to Haapsalus biggest shopping mall (though not that big). There is internet if you bring a laptop (through cable) but no wifi.
