Traditional Russian cuisine with a modern twist. Friendly staff, good atmosphere. You can find cheaper restaurants in Tallinn, but the quality meets the prices here :)

The best pancakes I have ever eaten. And it is one of the best restaurants with Russian cuisine. Highly recommend!

Genuinely among the best restaurants in Tallinn. I have been here many times and have never been disappointed in the food or the service. Prices are also very reasonable.

The best experience I had in a restaurant.
The service was perfect. Suggestions, attention, tips, jokes, friendly but professional, extremely polite. Never had this pleasure before.
The chief always have notes for his clients even if he's below them.

The food was excellent, beautifully presented (check pictures attached) the cooking was refreshing and a pleasure for the mouth.

Booking is mandatory in advance. The clients seems to be mostly tourist.

I recommend the Chicken a la Kiev, speciality of the house (picture attached)

    The prices are average :
Main course, desert, one glass of wine and a liquor (vana tallinn) 34€/p

This is a hidden gem! The food is extremely flavorful and presented in a beautiful way. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. Cost was good for the High Quality dining. The Beef Beet soups is delicious! I wish I could have tried more!

I wish I had been more hungry so I could have tried everything on the menu! This is a very cute restaurant, with well-prepared and aesthetically pleasing, good-tasting food. My cold beetroot soup was almost too pretty to touch and tasted great. The service was great too. A very nice spot for lunch or dinner not far from the Old Town.

    Absolutely loved it!
We read a few times about the place and decided to try it even though it was a bit late for lunch. After so many great reviews, passing in front of it and not experiencing it seemed a waste of an occasion, so we went in for a quick bite And ended up having a full blown meal (bar dessert, there was no space).
The staff was lovely and knowledgeable and made us feel at home.
The indoor seating area tastefully decorated, but we ate is a super-cozy little courtyard.
The pirozhki, fantastic. The pickled mushrooms, lovely. The meat dumplings delicious, and the salted lard, a treat. Even the home-made rhubarb schnapps was awesome!
Best thing, the price was surprisingly good for the quality.
100% recommended, even if it means getting a bit out of your way (like 10 minutes or so!)

My daughter and I had dinner at the Kohvik Moon today and it was absolutely great. We had piroshkies filled with carrot and duck first and then chicken Kiev and beef stroganoff. The food was delicious and the service very kind. If you ever go to Tallinn make sure to stop by there.

Our family's favourite restaurant in Tallinn. It is amazing what kind of food they serve taking into account the prices. That's why they are so popular. Some of the staff working there has been around for years meaning it's great to see familiar face evert time we visit the place. Their coffee is strong and tasteful, duck pie deicious, starters, main dishes, deserts all yummy. We always manage to get a table without booking too but if you definitely want to visit this place, book a table in ahead.
