We are with our little dog in Barclay and the hotel is ok. First night we were going to eat in hotel restaurant. Ladies were so friendly and said we can go to sit. We had ordered drinks when young guy came to say that this is a family restaurant and dogs are not allowed. We were shocked because our dog had behaved really good. He almost spoilt our evening but luckily there are so many excellent dog-friendly restaurants in Tartu.

With dog in Barclay
Everything is excellent with dog in Barclay hotel. But today we went to eat in hotel restaurant and the freandly ladies said wellcome. We had ordered the drinks when the blondhaired guy came to say that this is a family restaurant and dogs are not allowed. We were really shocked because our little dog had bahaved really good.
But we wont let them spoil them our holiday. There are many nice dog-friendly restaurants in Tartu.

Unbelievable treatment. We had to check in from the counter ourselves and surprises did not end there. Suite had no hot water, furniture was dirty, staff surprised us with the "special treatment" for 2 days, also got extra charged 2 days later for really minor common issues. Hotel Tartu or Alexander is very recommended instead of this dump. Perfect location is the only thing that is left from pleasant and comfortable place that it calls itself today.
