die hostalatmosphäre ist sehr familiär. ich hatte einen super aufenthalt im alcazaba mit maria, oswaldo und ihrer tochter. sie waren jederzeit verfügbar und haben mir viele hilfreiche tipps für aktivitäten und ausflüge rund um puerto lopez gegeben. auch meine mangelnden spanisch-kenntnisse haben kein problem dargestellt, da sie sehr geduldig waren mir alles zu erklären. das hostal ist zwar etwas außerhalb vom zentrum gelegen, was mich allerdings nicht gestört hat. dafür wird man mit einer freundlichen, authentischen atmosphäre belohnt. das hostal verfügt außerdem über eine terasse mit hängematten und super ausblick + eine küche, die bei bedarf genutzt werden kann. alles ist sehr sauber und die preise sind total fair. kann einen aufenthalt zu 100% empfehlen.

Hostal Alcazaba is a wonderful and refreshing hostel. My friend and I stayed for five days and four nights. We accidentally made reservations for the wrong dates and management was able to accommodate us right away. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help in anyway possible. Breakfast is included in the morning at the time you'd like. It's delicious. The kitchen and dining room are very clean. The hostel also offers massages, one of which I got, and it was remarkable; I had it on the terrace overlooking the beach at sunset (you may choose to have a more private massage). The rooftop terrace has many hammocks to sit and relax in and read. Management also arranged for our tour to Isla de la Plata. The beach is only a short walk from the hostel. Altogether, this was an incredible stay and I recommend it to any adventure seekers backpackers, or anyone staying for a nice relaxing vacation. This was the best and kindest hospitality I have received in my three months here in Ecuador. I really cannot praise Maria and her daughter enough for all they did for us. It felt like home.

Un séjour fantastique, j’ai adoré!! Les chambres très propre, une vue époustouflante du haut de la terrasse muni de quelques hamacs pour se reposer. Les charmantes femmes propriétaires de cette hôtel, était d’une telle gentillesse, je les remercie grandement, mon séjour à été de plus agréable.

Es un hermoso lugar, tiene una vista muy bonita lo recomiendo 100% es limpio muy cerca de la playa y los dueños son muy amables siempre están prestos ayudar con información de los lugares turísticos y de Tour que podemos realizar 🏖

Estuvimos dos noches en el hostal. Incluye desayuno sencillo, hay Wifi óptima, agua caliente y se puede contratar el tour a isla de la plata por buen precio (yo no lo haría en temporada seca; hay poco por ver).
Está a 15 minutos andando de la playa y con moto taxi cuesta 50 centavos.
Los dueños son una familia ecuatoriana muy hospitalaria.response / report this review -

We had a great stay thanks to the owner Maria. She was so friendly and easy going that we decided to stay longer. The place has a kitchen that we used often, very clean and comfy rooms, good WiFi and hot showers and it's only a 15-minute walk to the beach. It also has a big market only 4 blocks away where you can lunch or buy fresh fruit and veggies. I loved the terrace as well where you can do yoga, or simply chill out looking at the sunset. Affordable prices in a friendly environment.

El hostal tiene una magnífica vista de todo el pueblo y el mar, habitaciones limpias y cómodas, desayuno delicioso, experiencia inolvidable en Puerto López.. María la dueña fue muy amable y cordial, ella nos dió toda la información requeria para visitar los distinto lugares turísticos de la zona.
