Amazing experience..loved this place with its lovely air and beautiful view across the valley..the structure is lead by the owners and they are kind and helpful. Great breakfast as well. Call it a paradise!

The place was nos as easy to find but when we got there we were greatly surprise. This "hosteria" for me is a kind of selective bread and breakfast .
Location can't be better high in a hill with great views to the valley.
The owners, a very nice family are welcoming and kind. Breakfast is included. As it is not close to town the best thing is to have dinner in a restaurant and pay a taxi the way up, or ask Mrs Beatriz to cook a nice home made dinner for you.
Limited selection of wines. Try to get during the day. As any other families they go to sleep and definitely de place is for REST and enjoy.
Avoid Vilcabamba on weekends the town is terribly noisy and the music goes through all the valley. During my stay, they have a full orchestra in town celebrating Vilcabamba festivities and it was impossible to sleep before 2:00 AM .response / report this review -

One star is just a flaw in the system. They cancelled our booking during our arrival. We drove around 400 km from Guayaquil (8 hours trip) just to hear that room was not available even though we paid for it .

Villa Beatriz is one of the most wonderful places on earth! Is not only the special location and the surrounding green areas, but also the whole valley of Vilcabamba which is known as the Longevity valley. In addition, Villa Beatriz has a great atmosphere full of nature, location is pretty perfect for people who is looking for relax and have a retreat of the everyday routine. Furthermore, is the best place you could stay in if you visit Vilcabamba! My overall experience about the lodge is excellent.
