Run by free-spirited escapees of Western culture, this treehouse-style hostel is short on modern amenities but huge in exotic romance. We had what the owner, Renaldo, ironically calls "la Penthouse," the entire top floor with private balcony overlooking the ocean. Heaven on Earth.

Very charming place! I recommend you try the ceviche for lunch or breakfast. The room was very clean and quiet and the owner is very welcoming.

Comfy and affordable hotel with a rustic design, very close to the beach and small restaurants near by. It's located in a very calm town near to montañita. The bathrooms could be better tho, there's wifi but it has a bit slow Internet connection and there's no TV but you don't go to the beach to watch movies.

Nos encantó la atención y que esté a pasos de la playa. Olón es un pueblo muy tranquilo y el hostal es hermoso.
