Personally, I had a very bad experience at Kallari cafe. We just went there to take a coffee to go and it took 20 minutes to get two coffees. We were the only one when we arrived and the guy served a couple before us who arrived five minutes after us. Plus, the espresso and capuccino were full of sugar.

If you want to have really good chocolate, either as a bar, pastry or in a drink then you're in for a treat! Also, talk to the people there and they'll give you a great background on the brand, the chocolate and how it's helping indigenous people.

A good little spot for a coffee/hot chocolate and some snacks. I recommend the empanadas if you're looking for something to eat. The coffee wasn't great, but better than we could find anywhere else around.

The coffee is awkwardly bad, but you'll overlook that pesky fact because their hot chocolate is hands down the best I've ever had. I don't know what magic they have done to make it so, but Portland's CACAO no longer holds the throne as best hot chocolate. For me that designation goes to Kallari and their humble shop in La Mariscal. Well done.

Great chocolate bars. Rich hot chocolate with some fun plates of food.
