Much nicer and quicker and faster and cleaner and breathe easier than the Guayaquil bus station. After the Guayaquil bus station, the Bus terminal for Salinas and another area destinations is an organizational breeze.
In the front of the station the local buses will depart for Salinas. Just ask the guy at the bus if it goes to your destination. Just hop on the bus at the station, it will turn around and go in the correct direction. You do not have to cross the street. the local bus will cost $0.30 to get to town or half price if you're a senior. They may even give you change from your coins if you stand there and expect it.
The buses for long distance points arrive and depart in the back of the station. The bus to Manzanita is $2
One side of the station goes to and from the parking lot for vehicles.
The other side of the station has the taxi queue. Do not rely upon the driver to understand any other language besides Spanish. In my experience the driver may not even be able to read a map.
Interior food include 3 options - a Mr Chicken, Empanadas and Coffee. Exterior food ‘trucks’ trucks are beyond the taxi lines.
Outside stalls for clothes are across from the vehicle parking.
There is also a huge Mr Comisario about 3 block away with loads more options if you have the time and the need for more stuff.

This terminal is the main connection coming from guayaquil. If you disnt get a direct bus from guayaquil to your final destination, this terminal will bring u to many different beaches and other provinces along the coast

There are few arcade games for kids inside the Terminal. Two ATM (cooperativa Jep and Banco del Pacifico) and small food court to eat. Right before you board the Buses you can buy empanadas and natural juices, sodas, water. If you expect a shopping plaza, there's one Ferrisariato Mi Comisariato 2 blocks by walk near the Bus Terminal.

I was starving after a long trip home from Cuenca, I stopped and had a lunch at the last restaurant before you go out to the taxi. I have been there before good food overall. Yesterday they had fish soup, wasn't my favorite But the mashed potatoes and the chicken was delicious!

Nice place. Such a great improvement since the times our province did not had a decent bus terminal, however it needs maintenence. Restrooms show signs of abuse and are not usable anymore. Free Wi-Fi works at random times, so travelers should not rely on it. Good selection of stores with several different types of goods. Several atms from different banks around. Local buses on the from. Taxi pickup place. 2 Pharmacies to choose from. Needs lockers.
