  Comfortable rooms grouped to share a semi private pool of thermally heated water. Spectacular views surround the lodge,where food is varied and tasty.

  Confortable and popular lodge style hotel with thermal springs, pools and even baths in some rooms (well the room l had anyway). The hotel reception, restaurant and bar are situated in a separate building which is built in a traditional style, but who's tradition that was, is quite beyond me. The restaurant is large, the food seem to be aimed at the US market, however it was of good qualiy and nicely presented.
  
  The hotel is situated at 10000+ feet, but the surrounding peaks and tracks are considerably higher, with some stunning scenery. The village leading to the hotel is not a place of great beauty but the bird life around here is that of high Andes and therfore not to be missed. Papallacta is long way from anywhere, but worth the effort of getting there.
