While we were unable to enter due to restrictions on public gatherings in the wake of the tragic earthquake the plaza itself is an amazing photo opportunity and it's close location to most of Quito's old city's attractions is a plus! For only 25 cents take the Trolebus (Green Line) and stop off at La Plaza Grande

I was here with my wife and her brother for a Jazz Concert!! Very nice place with a hint of history of the beginning of the History of the city.
You can go around the corner and get access to small visit of the inside place from Monday to Friday when they are not having an event.response / report this review -
