I do not recommend shopping here if you are a Gringo. The man that served me was rude and unpleasant. He reluctantly found me a different size, never smiled even when I purchased a $60 pair of pants and when I thanked him at the end the best he could manage was 'listo'..again a glare rather than a smile. That being said, the woman who served me first was very pleasant. I'm sure there are other shops who have similar products but offer pleasant service in Cuenca. I recommend you find them and shop there.
