  Its a fairly decent supermarket right in the center of the town. Prices are a bit higher than in Ambato, an hour away, but are usually much better than at the corner stores. Vegetables, however are still cheaper at the central market in front. There is a taxi stop beside the business.

  This store has a friendly staff and good prices. The central market is just across the street with even more fresh produce, seafood, and meat. This grocery store has beer, wine, and liquor. You can also find cooking supplies and flatware.

  It has most everything you need, but the fresh fruits & vegetables aren't as good here as at the Mercado Banos around the corner. Prices are a little high here too.

  So much to choose from here which is incredibly convenient!
  
  The actual layout of the store is fantastic (seems a weird thing to mention but a lot of supermarkets in Ecuador can be tricky to navigate around).
  
  Queue times are also very low as it has plenty of staff!

  Large choises! I found good soya milk in powder (wich makes life easier while traveling!)
  Lot of possibilities in differents harina powder such as beans, lents etc
  Fruts are expensif!
