  Best breakfast cafe on Calle Largo. We go there every time we're in Cuenca. Haven't ever been disappointed with the quality of the food and the portions are excellent for the price. If you don't try this place, you're missing out. Frank from Cuba is our favorite waiter, but the entire staff is great.

  do not bother , food is very poor , if yu came to Cuenca for a gringo fix , ugly restaurant , food not so good , worst place I ate in Cuenca and I have eaten all over the world . Many many better restaurants around

  Sunrise Cafe is a must for gringos. It is a friendly place that serves bacon smoked on site, fluffy pancakes and omelettes and most any other item your western palette desires. Friday night has become special since it is now bbq night. I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you give Sunrise, Orlando, Frank, and the crew a try.

  Great breakfast. My wife and I split the scrambled eggs and potatoes breakfast. Fresh orange juice was nice. This is an unofficial meeting place for gringos in Ecuador. We went to meet a few of the expats.
