Me and my boyfriend spent here 4 nights on february. It´s great place if you need some rest with almost no people on the beach and just enjoy the sound of the waves .). The owner is very kind and helpful person. The beach was clean and most of the time we were here alone, rooms were nice and clean as well, the same with the surrounding of the house. For 3 dollars per day you can use big kitchen with everything what you need in it- smoothie maker, toaster, coffee, fridge and soThere is also a big hall with table tennis, on the beach you have playground for beach volleyball. We had a really nice time here. Thank you

Really beautiful place right on the ocean. A 15 minute walk down the beach to the town of Canoa. Alexandra, the owner is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend Sundown Beach Hotel!

I stayed here for a few weeks and got some Spanish lessons from Luis Ponce.

I spent 2 months in Ecuador and this hotel was the best place I stayed for all the best reasons. They are very nice and accommodating, the beach was great, good food, awesome spanish lessons on the beach, honest staff, WIFI and I could go on and on.

If you are planning a trip to Ecuadpr make this your beach destination. 50 cent bus ride to Canoa or just walk down the beach 1.5 miles. I really enjoyed and miss the people at the Sundown Beach Hotel. Alexandria, Juan Carlos, Maria and the rest of the staff will take care of you.

Paradise in Ecuador! Even after the recent 7.8 earthquake this place is still alive and well! One of the most beautiful spots on the Northern Coast of Ecuador. Warm days - cool breezes, excellent Spanish classes and great food! I couldn't have asked for more. I spent a month here and will be certain to come back for more! don't hesitate to visit!

The Sundown Inn is a place that once you go there you will want to return. Everything is good about it, right from the start. The general area is a beautiful chilled out beach town, the Sundown Inn itself is a beautiful little hostel/hotel with private rooms about 30 metres from the beach. The rooms are nice, and try if you get a 2nd level balcony view its unreal.

The family running the Sundown are very friendly, and will always help you out. The food package they offer is amazing and cheap. The Spanish lessons are very good value also.

I have no hesitation recommending Sundown Inn to anyone. Have a wicked trip there, I am jealous
