  If you are in Cuenca worth checking out for coffee+pastry or for a drink. Opened late, fun place to hang out. Food ok, and not overpriced given location.

  Es uno de mis lugares preferidos para ir a tomar in café junto a un buen poste, la tensión es destacable, las chicas encargadas son un amor de personas y hacen su trabajo de la mejor manera.
  
  Los precios son moderados, vale la pena pagar por lo que te ofrece el menú, los postres son lo más delicioso de éste lugar. Y ni mencionar el ambiente, es acogedor y relajante.
  
  Lo recomiendo ampliamente

  Nice place to take a coffee, eat a pastry or having a cocktail during happy hours (5pm-7pm30).
  There is a live jazz on Tuesday (from 8pm).
  The staff is nice and the walls are covered with French frames that you could find in a secondhand trade.
  They offer free Wi-Fi and clean toilets.
  The location is perfect since it is on the main square.
  Price are a little bit high regarding Ecuadorian standards but okay regarding the location.

  Quaint bistro ambiance with sensible fare. Splendid location under a portico facing Parque Calderon, adjacent to the old cathedral. Appropriately priced almuerzo (did not try it; $3.75 Jan 2017). French inspired a la carte menu. Crepes are OK ($6-$7), and are large enough for a small meal. Probably the best value if you want to eat with a little glamour.

  Cafetería de altísima calidad y ambiente muy relajado. Cuenta con opciones de platos a la carta y comida rápida Gourmet. Muy buen ambiente, muy apetecida por turistas por su local. La atención es de las mejores en la ciudad.

  Café français tenue par trois jeunes femmes (du moins ce jour là) qui propose des gâteaux maison et surtout du vrai café : boire un expresso en Équateur n’est pas chose courante !
  La décoration est sympathique.
