One hour away from Quito. The perfect escapade when looking for a calming spot, with many things to do: listening to the music that nature perform. Going for an exciting bike or horse ride. Enjoying the sunset with one of the most amazing views of Cotopaxi. Your hosts in Sierra Alisos will definitely make you feel like home, while preparing the perfect experience for you.

This place was like home away from home! Beautiful setting. Views were spectacular. The staff was beyond amazing. Mario lead a few hikes and explained flowers and trees and volcanos. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the property. The food was excellent, fresh, and reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. I highly recommend this place if you are visiting the area!! If I could give 10 stars, I would.

This is a rustic but very charming hotel. Situated in a bucolic environment and with a host family that is the best of the Latin America hospitality.
If you want to have an intimate equatorian experience this is the place to be.

Fabulous experience. I stayed here for three nights, one in a private room and two camping in the field next to the house as I am on a tight budget. The views are spectacular, from here you can see at least 5 different volcanoes including Cotopaxi in the mornings when fog doesn't shroud the peak. I spent the mornings taking in this view and the sun on the south facing patio with a cup of coffee. One of the mornings I went for a lovely walk in their private 19 hectare forest reserve. I got to know the staff, Trina the manager, Mario the biologist/handyman/host, Patricia the cook and Raul the owner--wonderful folks, very nice, and attentive while respectful of personal space. Rooms are very cozy with a woodstove and supply of wood in each. Breakfast was excellent with nata straight from their own dairy farm, granola, eggs your way, bread etc. I intend to stay here again.

Hermoso lugar para ir en familia, amigos o incluso solo. El bosque es mágico y perfecto para caminar o meditar. La comida es deliciosa y la atención es magnífica. Puedes leer frente a la chimenea o conversar con el dueño. Tienes la posibilidad de hacer eventos diferentes. Yo hice el cumpleaños de mi hijo ahí y fue genial.

Espectacular lugar!!!! tranquilo, se respira paz, es un lugar increíble, como para quedarse ahi!! una vista hermosa a los Nevados, aire puro, y super buena atención!! la comida deliciosa!!!!! Me encanta. Totalmente recomendable!!!!!!! Es lo máximo!

Amazing beautiful place situated on a farm with views of Cotopaxi. Rooms are spacious and extremely well decorated. Full bathrooms and wood burning heaters in the rooms. It is a very special hotel and highly recommended. The staff are 1st class!

Es un sitio con una hermosa vista de la naturaleza, se puede divisar al volcán Cotopaxi, Rumiñahui, Pasochoa, Antizana, Cayambe y otros más
