Not ideal for families. This hotel is right next to a night club. It would have been okay if it was just my husband and I traveling alone. We had our two kids and they put us in a tiny room where we discovered poisonous spiders. When we asked to move the manager said not to worry about the spiders so I asked the manager to pick it up with his bare hand if he wasn’t worried about it. He declined and then agreed to change our room. The club is open until 3:30 am, so if you have small children save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere more family friendly.

Su personal siempre atento y agradable, prestos a brindar su ayuda en todo momento. Las habitaciones limpias, ordenadas, cómodas dan al visitante el descanso que necesita. Brinda un buen desayuno a pesar de ser continental. Situado en el casco colonial de Cuenca, se puede llegar rápidamente al los principales lugares de la ciudad sobretodo del centro histórico

This a very reasonably priced hotel in a good location. We found the employees to be very friendly and accomodating. Calle Larga is only two blocks away - one of the main streets in Cuenca, full of entertainment, food and historical sites. We stayed on the first floor and found the room to be quite noisy, regardless of the time of day. The bedroom and bathroom were nicely appointed and very clean.

+ The hotel is very central
+ the rooms are extremely clean
+ staff is very friendly and helpful
+ beds are very comfortable
- beside the scrambled eggs the breakfast is nothing to look forward to
- its very loud, all the rooms face a central court and the doors and windows are badly isolated.
- the wifi is painfully slow

El hotel es hermoso pero no respetan tu reserva y te dan una habitación diferente a la que reservaste, por supuesto más pequeña o con menos camas. Ni siquiera te ofrecen unas disculpas y te quieren hacer creer que tu has hecho mal la reserva. Yo reservé una habitación triple con tres camas y me dieron una doble con sólo 2 camas y me cobraron como si fuera triple.

El hotel tiene un hermoso diseño. Las habitaciones son amplias y cómodas. La ubicación me pareció muy conveniente, no necesariamente central pero se podÃa ir a diferentes partes de la ciudad caminando pocos minutos. El servicio fue muy amable y útil. También incluye un desayuno en la tarifa del hotel.

Great atmosphere! Wonderful tasty and very well priced deserts, especially honey cake,
So far the best empanadas I've tried in Cuenca ( they are fried but not greasy, dough is very thin and flaky, very flavorful and juicy filling). Melanie the manager has a very warm manners and took her time to show us the rooms which were small but very clean and elegant.
