This zoo is interesting and has many exhibits. However the conditions under which the animals live seems somewhat primitive. Overall I enjoyed my visit that only cost $3. It is a reasonable walk from the center of Banos de Agua Santa.

Although I do understand the rejection zoos get, almost all of the animals are rescued, not bought. Some of them were part of an exchange with other zoos. Nice views too.
