Ruinas de Cojitambo

  Este lugar es encantador, está lleno de historia y aventura. El contraste del pueblo creciendo y las ruinas q parecen detenidas en el tiempo son encantadoras. El acceso es un tanto limitado pero vale la pena, hay parqueadero y área para escalar solo tarda 10 minutos a la cima. No hay área para comer.

  For the athletically minded, catch a bus in Azogües, get off at the quaint village at the base of the mountain, walk up to the ruins and the viewpoint at the top. Then, walk down and have lunch and a beer. An easy and fun day trip by bus from Cuenca.

  Es muy hermoso, recomendado para ir en familia o simplemente para hacer deportes de montaña (caminatas, escalar, camping, etc) su vista es cautivadora y brinda al visitante un excitante lugar de descanso.

  Really cool location to visit ruins that are intact and open to the public. The road leading up to the ruins can be a little treacherous, so bring a 4 wheel drive if you have access to onem

  Hermoso lugar! Ideal para pasar un largo rato en silencio contemplando el paisaje desde lo alto y visitar las ruinas. No cuenta con sevicios de ninguna clase, es recomendable llevar alimentos, Agua, y protector solar. Se permite acampar pero no hacer fuego. Se puede escalar con equipo adecuado, o subir caminando o en vehículo. Transporte público: desde Azogues se puede ir en taxi por unos 5 dólares, o en Bus desde el terminal, tomando el Bus a Deleg. Por $ 0,25 y descendiendo en Cojitambo pueblo, donde se puede visitar una interesante Iglesia de piedra, y luego caminata hasta la cima por la carretera.
