A classy and cozy restaurant
The food was excellent. Had a beef dish prepared with a wonderful sauce. The restaurant starts with providing bread and a variety of dips. My entree included rice, a salad and fried potatoes. The entree was priced at $15. Perhaps a little pricey for Cuenca, but totally worth it. La Esquina is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a delicious restaurant with great ambiance.

Great service, huge portions. A little expensive for Ecuador standards but worth the splurge. Could definitely share a dish. The wine was pretty good as well!

La atención es terrible pero eso es un problema común en Cuenca. Poco espacio, el mesero se choca con todas las sillas de los clientes. De entrada nos dijeron que no tenían la mitad de la carta (no tenían carnes). Además Tal vez fuera bueno abrir un par de ventanas, se volvió muy caluroso el lugar. La comida estuvo bien a pesar de todo pero nada del otro mundo.

Great food, awesome service, but the price is still a bit too high for what you get. Don't get me wrong, portions and quality are great but I'm not sure if it justifies paying that much.
