  Hiked down and up this afternoon. Stunning view on top, beautiful view down there. It took me almost 40 minutes to go down, and about 50 minutes to go back up.

  Try to get there before noon to enjoy of the crater views.
  It takes about 20 minutes to get to the inner part of the crater. From there you can climb up to Chico and Cerro Pondoña, the inner crater domes.
  Another option is climbing the southern mountains of Cerro Sincholagua and Cerro La Marca (crater rim) by the neighborhood of Urbanización La Marca, for even more awesome views of the crater and the Muted del Mundo area.

  Easy and fast access by car till the entrance. Then it is possible to enjoy a great view to the crater, a hot chocolate, buy some handmade souvenirs or take a short hike.

  Really amazing. Beautiful from top, but really worth going down. If you do so, take the horse ride, because coming back up here is really tough.
  Down there on the small roads it feels a bit mythical. You will visit a place where time stood still. Very friendly people around.
  One restaurant is open all days, the other two normally only in the weekend.
  If you are not sure, or go without a guide, I would recommend to take your own lunch with you.

  Stunning views abound. The lush green landscape and valley floor are mesmerizing. Nice little coffee shop that we took advantage of on this cool morning. Also some small kiosk shops selling their local and not so local wares. Everything's negotiable.

  Great view of the crater. The walk down to the crater takes about 30 minutes. The trail is sandy and slippery at some points. The return to the top takes about 45+ minutes. Horses are available for rent at the top (I highly suggest renting a horse if you are not in good physical shape).

  You get a nice view of the crater and the hills that surround it. Like many of the other view points in Quito, Pululahua also has shops that sell handicrafts. It also has a small restaurant.
