The worst service I've ever seen in a restaurant.. I wouldn't step in this place ever again The waiter was absurdly rude.. If you hate your job that much you should look for something else to do..

Good service and very delicious italian food. I'd also recommend their special juices. Sometimes you'll have to be little patient until your meal arrives.

I literally interrupted the lively discussion of three people at a table in one of the restaurants in Montañita to ask if they had any suggestions for a good place to eat. I had left Cuenca around 9 Friday morning on a 4-hour bus ride to Guayaquil bus terminal, hopped on another bus which left at 2 that afternoon and arrived in Montañita at 5 PM. Needless to say I was famished by the time I found my sleeping quarters, got checked in, and back outside foraging for food. The group at the table suggested I check out Pigro. It's Italian. I ordered Al Pesto, one of my favorites, and was that delicious. I went back a second time and ordered the same thing, just to make sure. I have to say I enjoyed it the second time.

Meh I can say only. They use fresh pasta however they go for quantity rather than quality; the taste isn't that authentic but the ingredients are certainly fresh and colorful. The place too is well designed and the service in my view better than the food. Worth the visit, but would not rave about the food.
