A very relaxing and affordable way to spend the day. For a modest price, you get a guided tour of the spa, involving a sauna and multiple spring water and mud baths. The staff is excellent and speak both Spanish and English. Well worth a visit.

    Great!!
Go for the whole thing instead of just paying for using the pool and sauna. The whole journey takes around 2 hours, so if you go at night it's perfect.

So much better here than the Baños, Ambato.
Bring good water proof sandals the floor is somewhat sleepery and rough.
Ask for Lydia for the best massage
The place is also under some remodeling

The Spa Circuit includes a variety of methods to relax and rejuvenate, all for $35. There are many add-ons available as well. This was my first time treating myself to a spa day and the staff was extremely helpful in explaining how to proceed with each step and the benefit of each treatment. Some staff speak English. After the Circuit, I treated myself to dinner in the restaurant. My server, Marco, was the best I've had in a 6 week journey in South America. He was friendly, extremely helpful and fun to chat with. Some reviews may say that the red mud stains bathing suits but I rinsed mine very well with soap after my circuit was over and my white suit is spotless. Be vigilant about cleaning your suit and you'll come out clean. I highly recommend this experience and for $35, it shouldn't be missed if you are visiting Cuenca!

Very relaxing. Fun thing to do in Cuenca, with or without the kids. Facilities could use some maintenance and upkeep. But it's a beautiful place and the staff is very friendly. The best part is the restaurant. Delicious food and drinks. We really enjoyed the 'Canelaso'.

Elegant but not pretentious. Beautiful rock setting glass structure. Spa pools all beautiful, relaxing. And good is amazing. U.S. standard prices but gourmet level!

The spa circuit was great but some of the mud pools were cold when we got in there and they had to heat them up. Not really a big issue but kind of inconvenient.

The spa is great, but if you leave without eating in the restaurant you are missing out. So good!

Amazing and beautiful, the cavern spas were so breathtakingly beautiful I cried. We had the full spa package, which was very reasonably priced. As a professional massage therapist, I'll warn that the massages are good - but very different than what we get in the USA. We were able to have childcare as well for our two year old, but they didn't change his diaper and was very upset and hungry when we got to him They basically ran off schedule so were weren't able to eat.. but it didn't matter. Wonderful experience.

Amazing place! The mud pools are the highlight - both red and blue. Paint your body and feel how stunning your skin is afterwards. Lots of other hot and cold pools to choose from. Top Notch service.
