Adjacent to Hotel del Parque. A great park to spend the Sunday afternoon. Animals, walkways, playgrounds, ice cream booths, cultural showrooms, traditional buildings, train carriages etc etc. Loved it! We had a great visit with a free guide (who spoke excellent English and who worked for the park). We strongly recommend visiting if you have 1 to 4 hours and are interested in endemic animals, plants and how locals lived (both in the city and on a rural farm) in the past.

This park is an absolutely amazing experience. Plus it's free! I loved seeing all the Ecuadorian animals and plants. There were even signs in English for people who don't understand Spanish. There is an area with food and drinks halfway through for people to cool down and refresh themselves. I definitely recommend going here. It's child friendly, free, and fun.

A fun way to learn about the local flora and fauna, history of the region and the foundation of Guayaquil.

The only downside is that it is a very long one way, so even if yo want to visit just the zoo part you have to walk through the rest of the park to exit.

Lots of native animals to see including ocelots, monkeys, beautiful birds, and more. Beautiful native flowers and trees are throughout. They've also moved some colonial buildings here and are in the process of restoring. Fun to look around!

Very busy amusement park on the river in downtown Guayaqil. Very crowded and interesting place. Food vendors and street sellers everywhere. Fun interesting place

A beautiful place. Had a party during the TMLA and it was spectacular. The pier is so very cool and the vintage Guayaquil vibe is amazing. The Hotel del parque is exquisite.

Cool place, sort of an exotic zoo. It brings oportunity to appreciate the local landscape and at the same time look at animals never seen before. Totally worth it. Solid 5/7

We read review on this and we expected something better. All the shops were closed and we had to get permission to go round the zoo which was reasonably interesting. Check that it is open before you go

Free entry. Beautiful macaws. Cute otter and many more animals. Beautiful green pathways and lots of small crabs can be seen under the wooden path. Must see zoo.

I just recently travel to Guayaquil Ecuador and I was amazed by this park and the whole city. Guayaquil have a lot of beautiful places to visit and their gastronomy is excellent.

Very nice place, helps you discover the best of the coastal flora and fauna. Free entrance unbelievably, animals kept in their habitat. Not cages. A MUST when in Guayaquil!!

This place was great and FREE! The staff and great, they even put our bags in the office to keep them safe. Did I mention that some of them speak English.

The zoo part was the best. The animals are not confined to cages. You have to stay on the path but the birds are usually close enough for you to get a close look.
