El almuerzo estuvo bien, el mesero muy educado para atender, pero la señora que pasa en la caja una actitud para nada cordial, ni siquiera sabe saludar. El local estuvo acogedor.

My spouse and I have eaten here most days for over 3.5 months. This restaurant is one of the only ones' that is open early and until 10PM every night, 7 days a week. The dining room is air conditioned and has great seating, much like a family restaurant in Canada. Pasteles has a great Italian Chef who's cooking is without a doubt worth a five star. The waiters are very friendly and try hard to speak English to please you. The owner, Francis greets all of his customers and watches closely to make sure everyone is happy with the service. He also speaks good English. Prices are very reasonable. For example, there is always a special at lunch which consists of pure juice, a soup (including shrimp soup at times), a salad bar, and the main course such as pork chops or chicken or an Italian dish. All of this for under $5.00USD. If you want a la carte you can order such things as the best chicken wings with fries in Salinas for under $7.00USD. In summary, for comfort, service with a smile and absolutely great food this is the place to go to when in Salinas, Ecuador!
