A truly magical experience. The plant textures and colors almost transcendental. The fragrant jasmine in April supreme. A place to contemplate and examine life. Traffic, yes as this is the center of Cuenca, but the greenery seems to absorb the sounds.

This is the heart of el centro. Great looking church. Nice place to hang out. Restaurants and shopping around. You will end up there one way or another.

Nice place and is the heart of Cuenca. You can go to the tourism office where they give you a map so can visit all the museums and important places of the city. There you can take a bus tour. Also, you can find many restaurants, coffee shops and crafts sellers nearby.

This is the center of activity in Cuenca.
It is a large and beautiful park. We were there before Christmas, and the park was wonderfully decorated. Folks of all ages enjoy this park. Around the park, there are a large number of great restaurants to enjoy. The "new" cathedral is on one corner of the park, and is magnificent.response / report this review -

Great place to visit grab an ice cream and walk around looking at different types of people and houses also great places around to grab a bit, grab a tour bus and visit all Cuenca

Lovely traditional park. Considered the center of town. Be a bit more careful with valuables, lots of tourists and a few thieves.

A great example of French baroque garden design in a Latin American colonial park. A beautiful place to hang out and watch people. Loads of different trees, plant life. Just great.

Beautiful place (town plaza/square) where locals and visitor's gather to meet, greet, and admire each other. It is safe, clean, and most times has music played by live bands and/or public sound system.

Bustling park every day it seemed. One night it seemed a branch of the Ecuadorian military had their band out playing for free creating a great vibe.
