Linda and Luis in the office displayed a wonderful commitment to personal attention and client satisfaction. The Eco-Lodge is fantastic comfortable, beautiful, and relaxing. Monkeys and toucans are easily seen. The mosquitos are almost non-existent here and Malaria pills are not necessary due to the acidic black water of the lagoon on which the Lodge sits. The kitchen staff, especially Celia and Germain, are always laughing and they serve amazing local foods. Beer and wine is available for purchase. Our guide was Fabricio, who is from the area. He was kind, fun, and impressively knowledgable about the jungle flora, fauna, history and culture. His eye for spotting the wildlife was exceptional. I saw anacondas, sloths, cayman, pink dolphins, and many other special animals/insects. I highly recommend the the 5 day trip. And the dorm is an exceptional value for backpackers.
