  Wonderful indian food and very authentic Kerala area food. You must try the cauliflower 65 and the parathas are the best!! Great service and nice restaurant. I highly recommend

  We arrived hungry and tired and we had a fantastic experience. The owner even held my son and entertained him next to our table so my husband, daughter, and I could eat. The food is great and the atmosphere is very family friendly. We’ll definitely be making it a regular pit stop.

  I have never been served white rice at an Indian restaurant- the lack of basmati rice was very disappointing. The vegetable Korma was runny and overly sweet. The naan, although delicious was not real naan and another big disappointment. The butter chicken was good but pretty much the only redeeming thing about this overly-expensive lunch.

  Food was poor quality for the price. This wasn't what let it down though. Staff were clueless. Told the waiter I'm allergic to nuts 3 times and made sure no nut ingredients are with what I ordered, which they weren't, but also if there were any nut based ingredients I.e oils or anything.
  
  My food came out and I asked the chef who spoke better English, what I thought anyway, to ensure there were no nuts at all. So asked the same questions and he told me there was definitely no nut based ingredients. Considering he was the chef I was assured.
  
  I ate half my meal with a tingling in my mouth which I put down to overthinking it as obviously Indians cook a lot with nuts so was slightly paranoid along with it happening before. Left half my meal and left to go back to the hostel.
  
  Once back in the hostel, a reaction started kicking in so had to visit the hospital. This was a horrible experience as my Spanish is ok but not amazing so it was difficult especially considering this reaction was slowly progressing. Got a shot and antibiotics and was fine afterwards.
  
  The next day I went back to the restaurant to speak with them. Seen the waiter and he was literally half laughing whilst trying to apologise. Obviously didn't understand the potential consequences.
  
  Seen the chef up the road obviously going to the restaurant so I spoke to him. He understood me clearly and mustered up a poor apology.
  
  I understand that a lot of Indian foods are nut based and cooked with nut based ingredients, but any other Indian restaurant in any other country I've visited there has been no issue. This place just did not care and did nothing to try and help the result of this.

  A little expensive for Ecuador, but worth it. I had the Chicken Peshwari, chicken cooked in cashew gravy. My wife ate the chicken roast, cooked in tomato, onion and roast gravy. We ordered the Kerala Paratha bread. The bread was like a layered tortilla you could pull apart. We shared each other's dish to try it out. We loved both of them. It is a little more expensive than the chicken and rice you get from other places, but the quality is so much better. I would eat here once a week or more if I lived here. Our meal with two bottles of water was $20. In the U.S. it would have been at least $30.

  Es cierto no es barato pero hay q tener en cuenta que que en una zona muy turística de Cuenca y el local esta bonito. Lo que pedimos estaba muy bueno chicken butter y cordero lal mel.
  
  It is true that is not cheap but it is important to take into account that the restaurant is located in the most turistic area of Cuenca and the place is nice. W ordered chicken butter and lamb lal mel and were good.

  The good: Open on Sunday.
  The bad: Charges U.S. prices, but doesn't even come close to average-quality Indian food or service in the U.S.
  (Try Cafe Austria if you're hunting for Sunday dinner out.)

  Expensive poor quality food. $5 for a bowl of over salted rice we couldn't stomach. Naan that is closer to tortilla. Chicken that was so salty one bite was all that was eaten. The lamb was ok but $8 for 100 grams and no sides or rice. Amazingly our worse and simultaneously most expensive meal in Cuenca.
