  Nicely equipped hostel. Kitchen is large, with all amenities needed, and we took full advantage cooking and baking. There is a lounge area inside and a nice covered patio area, so lots of room to socialize and hang out. The prices are fair and the share bathroom has a nice shower with hot water (it’s nicer than the private room shower!). The location is 6 blocks from the centro histórico, but it’s a safe walk we made every night and day. The owner and hostel workers are all very kind and helpful as well. Posted pictures of food made in the kitchen, fresh pizza!

  The best guest kitchen I came across in Ecuador by far. Location ok. Not great but not bad. Dorm bunks come with curtains, which is a nice touch. Hot water is actually hot. Really nice roofed courtyard to relax in. Would be five stars but sometimes the hostel staff can play loud music for hours on end late into the night, and through Spotify, meaning that there is no functioning internet for guests. This happened one of two nights I was there.

  This is a really nice hostel to stay at. Seems like it's a former family home converted into a hostel, so you can easily feel at home here

  Excellent petit hostel sans prétention. Le personnel est très agréable et connait bien les alentours. Les chambres sont propres.

  Realmente el mejor hostal que estuvimos en ecuador, por las instalaciones y por su gente. Ducha caliente la casa es hermosa y esta siempre impecable, los sitios comunes son amplios y comodos, las habitaciones colchones todo en excelente estado. Pero lo mejor del hostal es la calidez de maria su dueña que te brinda todo desde el primer momento que llegas, ella hace que se genere un ambiente casi familiar en la convivencia. Realmente el mejor hostal de cuenca.

  Increíble hostel! mas que hostel me siento realmente en mi casa. Estoy hospedado hace dos semanas y es difícil irse. La casa es hermosa. Cuenta con una cocina completa y muy amplia ideal para desayunar. El patio es una maravilla, tiene unos sillones muy cómodos para disfrutar el sol de tarde. El living cuenta con un televisor gigante donde podes ver cuantas películas se te ocurran. Los cuartos buenísimos, los colchones muy cómodos, las duchas bien calientes como deben ser. Tiene garage, balcón, un equipo de música increíble, y podría seguir enumerando. Y lo mejor, el ambiente que se genera allí. María, la administradora, tiene una onda única, es una integrante de tu familia durante tu estadía. Si pasas por Cuenca, no dudes en ir a Mi Casa Hostel. No tiene desperdicio.
