Call it nostalgia from my previous trips, but I just can't go to Ecuador without having breakfast at the Magic Bean. They have the best banana pancakes (I order them without nuts) and the best cafe con leche that I've ever had. Hands down, no competition. Throw in a fresh pineapple juice and some fried eggs and, in all seriousness, it just doesn't get better for breakfast on a nice cool Quito morning. Buen provecho!
We had a beautiful breakfast, our waiter Daniel was just professional and willing to help with any questions about the menu.
Would repeat of course.
Try El Vaquero breakfast!
Do not eat at this restaurant. One of the waiters was taking videos and pictures of our group secretly, but the flash was on making it obvious. We got hold of his phone and deleted the images, and the police later came. Most likely some sort of targeting. Also, the food tastes like dirt and feels like cardboard.
Overpriced and poorly executed. Very disappointed with the food taste and texture. Service however is very good.
They have great fresh juice. The food is ok and better than the typical fair in Sur America but falls short overall with the prep and when I commented on some issues, they did the have a path to make it right. Great for a juice!
Terrible place! Disorganized, bad food and very expensive
Perhaps I should have known better, but I ate at the Magic Bean, because it was close to my hotel. The service was excellent, but the food was mediocre. I can't recommend this place.
Good breakfast place, a little pricey but the quality and quantity justifies what you pay
Very poor cooked food seems that they hade to many guests to make sure our food were proper. Cheese on nacho were not melted, rolled chicken were cold inside, etc.
A very touristy restaurant with American food. Hamburgers were raw, not just under cooked - raw and there was no apology. Dont waste your time.
A classic Quito spot. The "empanadas" are giant. Juices are fresh and cold. Not pricey.
It was the only coffee place in the Foch Plaza that was open at 8 am on Saturday. Juices, coffees, and a great egg breakfast. Very good service, clean and the dining area was a nicely decorated patio with foliage. Great place!
Very gringo friendly restaurant near hotels and plaza. Great food options and quality. Well staffed with great service. Not much parking so walking is your best bet from hotel or have a taxi drop you off.
Great breakfast, decent desserts and juice so delicious it'll be embedded in your memories for years to come!
Waiters were very friendly, this restaurant is pretty gringo friendly as well, opposed to most restaurants throughout the city. Although the food wasn't outright blowing me away. It was tasty and well presented.
The food is slightly more expensive than other restaurants in Quito. We got a potato soup and a panini for lunch. The panini was cold and soggy and the soup lacked freshness. The service and the ambiance are good.
Great place for breakfast and big or small groups. Their omelette and French toast are delicious. Also, their smoothies are healthy, refreshing and HUGE! Totally recommend it!
