Beautiful place within easy access from civilization.
The Ecuadorian/Kichwa staff is amazing, kind and extremely knowledgeable about the area and its animals.
Sadly, the german guy working as host/receptionist seems like he couldn't care less and would prefer to (and should) be elsewhere
He manage to mess up something every day. In the end, he even managed to mess up our departure, which made us miss our bus. They don't come that often!

Nice lodge in the Amazon rainforest of Ecuador to just relax or explore the surrounding rainforest. The lodge can only be reached by boat/ kanu, which will be arranged. The cottages are basic but clean and well sealed. Not a single mosquito in to room at night, despite being in the rainforest! There is no electricity in the cottages but items can be charged at reception. Light is provided by candles, which gives it a special feeling. The shower with hot water is excellent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are very good. Excursions can be booked and the service is very friendly and like being part of a family. Highly recommended!

    Traumhaft.

    6/5. :D

The hot is in the middle of the forest and you reached it by boat. They organised walks in the forest and I really liked the one at the night. The room (cabinas) do not have electricity and during the night you can use candles: really cool!! Food is also really good too. The only problem is the people at the reception that are volunteers and they are lazy and try to ignore you as much as they can.
