Nice and safe. Good place for birding (35 species in 30 minutes). Excellent service, good food.

What an amazing stay. Very beautiful hotel and excellently maintained. Nice, large pool with an amazing jacuzzi in the room. Private area that is safe and quiet at night. The owners of the hotel are amazing human beings and will make you feel so welcome that you will only want to visit here when you are in Mindo. English is spoken, high water pressure and non-stop hot water. The food was also amazing (I recommend the Tigrillo for breakfast and the Trucho for dinner). Highly recommended!!!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful- from checking in to being available the whole stay to booking adventures. The rooms were clean and spacious. The setting of each room was amazing- there were purple flowering bushes outside our porch with hummingbirds and a whole variety of other birds most of the day. The breakfasts were phenomenal and you could have them served at the main lodge or in the room. I highly recommend staying here!!

We stopped in for a drink while out walking. It's a lovely place such as one might expect to find in the Alps rather than the Andes. Being further from the bustle of Mindo and closer to the beauty of the cloud forest, we found ourselves wishing we'd stayed here for our trip to Mindo. Highly recommended if you like a more European chic standard of accommodation nestled in the heart of the forest and off the main road, yet only a short walk or taxi into town.

This is one of the most awesome hotel in Ecuador. Wake up and see the hummingbirds from the bed. The breakfast is amazing, and they bring it to your room. Is the best place to relax in all the country.

David, Marlon and the team at Las Terrazas de Dana made our the night stay in Mindo incredible and we can't thank them enough for everything during our stay. The breakfasts were excellent and we recommend the Tigrillo, a local dish of fried plantain, cheese and onion, topped with a fried egg. The fresh juices are delicious and the code strong and tasty without being bitter. The evening meals were also excellent with soups and salads to start, and various meat dishes with the menu changing every day. Their sangria is excellent, as are their hone made caiprinhas 'de Mindo'. The bungalows, of which there are only 4, are elegantly appointed with incredible views out over the cloud forest. There is netting over the windows that open, and leaving then open lets you wake up to the sound of the birds and the nearby river - literally nothing else. The guys will serve breakfast on your balcony if you request; eating with hummingbirds feeding in the adjacent bushes is an incredible privilege. There is a TV in the room, but we didn't even turn it on. There is a Jacuzzi in the bathroom which was excellent to relax in after a long morning of birding (which they will arrange for you) and afternoon of walking around the nearby waterfalls. David or Marlon will drive you to the various attractions if their 4x4 is not already in use, or call you a taxi otherwise. We've literally nothing bad to say about this place, we loved every minute of our stay, and of Mindo in general. Thanks so much.

Es uno de mis lugares favoritos de Ecuador, me encanta venir a desconectar y relajarme. Trato personalizado, muy buena cocina, habitaciones espaciosas e impolutas perfectas para personas con alergias. Todos los detalles son tenidos en cuenta para hacer lo mejor de tu estancia y disfrutes de tu tiempo sin preocupaciones.
