It is in the center of Guayaquil, the zone is secure and It is three blocks from Malecon 2000. It is an old place, but I felt very comfortable. I definitely recommend this place for a trip because it is cheap and the staff is very helpful.

The rooms are kind of dull, but for the price I think it's ok. Some rooms don't have windows. It's better to go in group and share a big room, it's much cheaper this way and you get access to the best rooms. Single rooms are almost double the price per person if you compare to a triple or cuadruple room. It includes a good breakfast at least.

Terrible, dishonest, disgusting customer rip offs at both hotel and affiliated restaurant. At lunch, my credit card was charged $5 tip on an $8 meal, which I caught. Then, on check out this morning, I was charged $16 for a small pile of laundry, which I was told would be about $4. I OKed that amount when I gave them the clothes. In Cuenca, I had paid $2.25 and $3.50 for the same amount at laundries. This hotel has a big employee problem. Watch them like a hawk if you stay there. Get estimates in writing. Also, they will charge you an extra $24 to bring a guest to your room.
