150 years in the making, has to be the most traditional breakfast restaurant in Guayaquil. (They close at 8 pm, so if you'd like to have an evening breakfast, go for it!). Coffee is freshly grinded. You will cue next to the tables literally but it's worth every minute. It's always busy, be prepared to wait.

Good place for a traditional continental breakfast, which seems to be a family tradition for many La Palma patrons. The restaurant is lively, and customers and waiters are friendly. Coffee con leche comes with a large cup of hot milk. The pastries are very sweet as is the style in Guayaquil. A good place to start the day.
