Big park in the middle of the city!!! Surrounded by Malls and lots of places and areas for playing sports. There's also a big area with pulling bars, and some tractors tires for you to do some exercises.

I go there all the time for basketball. They have many courts and you can get to play pickup games.

Huge park in the middle of the city. Highly recommended passing by when you visit Quito. There are many attractions like an airplane, courts (football, tennis, etc). Beautiful view of the buildings. Very fancy area. Loved it!

La Carolina park is a must during the weekend, specially sunday. It is alive, people everywhere, families eating together, people playing soccer and volley. There is also a ton of food you can get at the park at a very cheap price from street vendors. During sundays, there are rap battles, and open air comedy shows in some areas of the park.

It's a great park, it has lots of volleyball courts, soccer fields, tennis courts, paths to walk, run and ride bicycles. It also has a lagun with pedal boats, a track to run, a track to ride mountain bikes and green areas. The park has about five parking lots - it's complete. An excellent place to exercise and/or people watch.

I love this park. There is a great running track. I can always purchase a yummy fruit cup. Or i love visiting the new all natural smoothie bar that just opened near the soccer fields.

The park is the largest in Quito. Located in the north side of town, it seems that despite being surrounded by at least the shopping malls, the city preserved this green Oasis for it's people. There is a big lagoon neat the southern access, passed the roller skate park.
There you can rent pedal boats for little cash. The earlier you visit the better, less public and more silence.
The city's botanical garden is not expensive and quite well maintained. We'll recommended.

Great park to stroll around on weekends. Has become dangerous recently, be extremely careful when walking alone in the area.

It's really good right now. The streets across the park were fixed and they are so comfortable. Hiking trail is so soft, so you don't get your feet hurt while running or walking. There are a lot of natural zones where you can take really good pictures. In addition, these place is close to around 4 mall centers, so you can end your experience by going to the cinema or getting a special ice cream with different flavours, included high quality ecuadorian chocolate.

An awesome space within the city to walk, rest, relax, and reflect. Lots of green space and some really nice new soccer fields that can be scheduled for use. The laguna is amazing as well!
