It's a nice place to stay directly on the beach front with a nice restaurant and bar by the beach
Nice Italian restaurant where you listen to the ocean. Highly recommend the wood-burning oven pizza and the croquante de manzanas.
Nice place away from the noise
Quick summary: bad rating due to service and construction conditions, room had no hot water and management didn’t handle moving us to another room well. VERY over priced for being under construction and for room conditions/lack of furnishings. Front desk staff were friendly and tried to handle as best they could, but were getting orders from “management” who was not onsite.
Details: stayed here for one night in January, room was very small for price (2 twin bed room) and smelled like the concrete had just dried. Room construction wasn’t finished in bathroom, no closet or chairs within room. There was an outside table and chairs but overlooked a line of AC units and construction. Front ocean view rooms had a much better exposure. Titles around pool were not complete and walk ways were dangerous with large drop offs (no railings). Room didn’t have any hot water so we requested a room change, this took a while partly because only one person was doing everything and they had to wait for an answer on where they could put us from management..the request seems to be a burden. Given it was their issue and we were paying a lot for the room we felt it should have gone smoother, then the next night instead of letting us stay in same room they would only let us stay if we paid the price difference or we would have to move to a smaller room again. Since we had to pack up again it was an easy decision to just leave for another hotel. Many in the area for much less and have the local charm this place is also lacking.
Pros: great location, right on the beach, pool, lounge chairs overlooking the ocean, two outdoor dining areas, one where a full buffet style breakfast was served. The larger room we did stay in was a nice size, but very basic (no closets, no bedside lights, also didn’t seem to really be finished) but did have AC and the beds and bedding were very comfortable.
Would suggest for families and couples/groups wanting to be a little away from the party scene of town.once they complete construction.
The rooms should have a coffee maker since the restaurant doesn't open till around 8:30
Expensive, horrible breakfast, bad wifi, hard beds, towels and sheets were dirty
I really enjoyed it because it's clean, conflate and peaceful!
Small resort in a great location with ocean view. Pizza Marea opens in the afternoon which is great. Why 3 stars? Either you buy them drinks or you don't drink at all (or take a lot of journeys to your room). Great policy for a free town, right?
Front door doesnt close correctly, toilet doesnt flush properly, no shower door, hard bed, cracks in the wall, food sucks, I wouldn't recommend coming to this "4 star hotel"
Sunset, food and surf all in one spot. However, access can be messy. Streets are muddy
Beautiful property in a fantastic location at the end of the beach, close enough to walk to town in a few minutes, but far enough away from the consistent rave music that plays loudly in the center of town. Our room was very clean and well laid out. We had large balcony as well, from which we could watch some really great surfing less than 100 feet away. The food was decent, and the staff were very pleasant and accommodating. The pool was refreshing and clean (cleaned every day), and the grounds are well maintained. We had a wonderful time, and I would highly recommend this hotel!
Amazing, cute, quiet, and tucked away perfectly at the end of the beach! Staff was very helpful and quick.
Nice!
