Excellent value, comfortable and clean rooms, good WiFi, yummy breakfast and, on the top of that, lovely host who makes you feel at home.
Nos quedamos en el Hostal La Molienda un par de noches y volvimos cuando pasamos de nuevo por Puyo. Habitaciones limpias y cómodas, buena conexión WiFi, desayuno excelente y sobre todo una atención encantadora.

An amazing comfortable and lovely hotel to go and stay at with your family. The owner Carmita Freire was very welcoming from the moment we arrived, and she kept being nice and kind throughout my stay.
I really got to explore my grandma's culture by going to all the places Carmita recommended like El Triunfo, Sucua, Paseo de los monos and more.
A great hotel to learn about the Puyo culture.

A quaint, family friendly bed and breakfast that will immerse you into the culture of Ecuador. I remember being here when I was ten years old and the owner, Carmita Freire was just starting construction, having the best time of my life exploring the city. Fifteen years later, it is my second time here and I am still enchanted by the wonders of the city and its attractions. For someone who is born in New York, I have fully submerged myself into the roots of my country by visiting the Comunidad Indichuris, which Carmita Freire recommended. I swung on a vine a thousand feet from the ground, drank a delicious Agua de Guayusas, and crushed cacao beans to make the finest hot chocolate in the world, like my father used to when he was a child. It's only a 20 minute drive away from La Molienda. At the end of the day, I know that this magical place in Puyo, Ecuador will welcome all it's guests as family. La Molienda is your home away from home.
