Carolina from HappyGringo organised our trip to Galapagos on a very short notice and was unbelievable helpful and responsive. I want to thank her for all her help. Without her, our trip would not have been as amazing as it was.

Our family of 4, with two kids ages 5 and 7, had an absolutely incredible trip to the Galapagos through HappyGringo! Eva made sure to ask what kind of trip we were looking for and built the itinerary around us. One unexpected perk was that going through HappyGringo made all the transitions seamless - guides and drivers waiting for us for all transfers to activities and between islands. With two young kids, this was an immense help. Hotels were great and the day trips were all fabulous. High quality and great value.

Fantastic experience booking with Eva through the company, she gave lots of options and suggestions for tours all 9ver Ecuador including the galapogos which was amazing. Highly recommend using this agency for any travel needs they r very responsive and nice to work with.

We booked an 8-day cruise in Galapagos with Happy Gringo. Gina was very knowledgeable, nice, and quick to answer via e-mail or WhatsApp making our booking process a pleasure. We were somewhat last minute, and she was patient and informative to help us figure out the right boat (which ended up both being exactly what we wanted, a higher-end boat with younger people on it) and the somewhat customized itinerary (where we joined the cruise later in the first day, and got our own plane tickets). I will definitely book with Happy Gringo again when back in Ecuador or Peru!

We had the pleasure of working with Gina at a Happy Gringo! We chose Happy Gringo from such great reviews and Gina was right there to answer our questions and help us in booking a cruise in The Galapagos islands, on The Samba, a very nice 16 passenger well equipped gorgeous 78' boat. Every time we had any questions or concerns booking the cruise, Gina was always right back with response and helping us wire the funds for payment. Happy Gringo's web site is so complete with items to bring and a written itinerary for each day activities. Gina continues to respond quickly with any questions regarding our travels even after our cruise was over .
When traveling so far and making such a large payment up front and non refundable it was very comforting knowing we were in professional hands of the Happy Gringo Team. Yes there are many other travel agencies to choose from, but checking on the reviews and stability of Happy Gringo we knew we had made the right choice. If we ever needed representation and protection we were confident Happy Gringo would be there for us. We would highly recommend this company and Gina of course! Happy Gringo and the staff I dealt with there were enormously helpful with my booking for a weeklong trip on the Beagle yacht in the Galapagos.
I first dealt with Marcelo in making my booking, who helped a lot in suggesting replacements when my first choice was sold out for the time we wanted to go. A few months prior to our trip, Maria Cristina stepped in to take over the booking as Marcelo had left the agency. Both Marcelo and Maria Cristina were amazingly responsive with any questions I had along the way and made this trip an incredibly smooth experience.
Our time on the Beagle in the Galapagos ended up being the best vacation my wife and I had ever taken. We wondered if we had ruined ourselves for future vacations!
As a special bonus, I happened to be traveling over my birthday, and Maria Cristina not only made sure the boat and their crew were aware (they baked me a cake and sang happy birthday!) but she even had a box of chocolates sent to my hotel in Quito for when we first arrived in Ecuador.

I went with Happy Gringo to Galapagos on the Nemo I catamaran. Everything was very well organized. Also I liked the boat Nemo I a lot. It is a small, sporty catamaran for rather adventurous travelers. There is different itineraries available and I can highly recommend to go on an 8 day trip to see all the different Galapagos animals and get to know more islands. I took the north-west route and was very happy with it and would not want to go less than 8 days

Sebastian from Happy Gringo was of great help in planning a 3 weeks personalized custom-made Ecuador itinerary. He went through all details in booking domestic flights, hotels, lodges and drivers to pick and drop us to the right place at the right time. Fantastic service, we were a walk in and Paola immediately found us some great options and processed everything so quickly, even flights to get to the destination she'd booked for us - she took all the stress out of organising anything, and ended up saving us money too. Highly recommended!
