Beautifully designed 5-star country house style hotel with view of Cotopaxi volcano (5,897 m) in the Andes Mountains in Ecuador.

Llamas and horses graze in the background and in the evening plenty of cute, little rabbits hop over the field. This hotel is very nicely designed with big panoramic windows in every room and cosy fire places in the evening.

This was one of the best excursions I've had in Ecuador. The landscape alone makes it a win, but Hacienda Los Mortiños offers some of the nicest accommodations, best and friendliest service, and wonderful activities around (we did horseback riding, mountain biking, hiking, and even a wedding). This is a must for anyone who is traveling in the area!
