The H sports bar is place to go in Bahia de Caraquez to get beer on tap. The owner Henry is friendly. The prices are higher than the local fare, but that is offset by good service and good food.

When in Bahia this is a fantastic place to stop and have a meal! Henry and Anna are great people and will make you feel at home! Food is great and the menu has lots of choices. A must when in Bahia!

I sat next to a young man on the bus on my way to Bahía de Caráquez who mentioned H Sports Café. So after I'd checked in to the B&B where I would be for the next few days not having had any decent food the whole day I decided to check out How Sports Café. I ordered barbecued chicken wings and a dark designer beer. The wings were every bit finger licking delicious. The beer was excellent so ordered another. This cafe sits at the malecón with a spectacular view of the bay. I hung out there for a couple of hours, enjoying my beer and the view and the warm weather: all around great time that I went back the next 2 days for more of the same thing. The staff was super friendly. I chatted with the owner, a great guy, I guess the "H" in H Sports Café, Henry.

Great addition to Bahia! What I love is Anna and Henry have created an environment where everyone (locals, tourists, expats, etc.) is welcome. Also, great drinks, craft beer, and not the typical Bahia fare (wings, nachos, French toast!) are served by friendly, fun staff.
