  I was part of a bird-watching group from nearby Cotacachi. There were about 10 of us in the group. I have nothing but good things to say about our experience there. The accommodations are so comfortable, Peter has created an extremely pleasant, and comfortable environment. Our room was more like being at home than in any hotel or even AIRBNB that I can remember. And the Great Room where we ate and gathered to relax was so pleasant, with any books and the decor was really extraordinary with furniture made by a local person in a very rustic, yet elegant style. Peter has a real knack for creating a comfortable setting. The food was outstanding, with meals prepared by a local person, wonderful salads, trout, chicken, vegetables and grain dishes. I wanted to take the cook home with us. We had two lengthy outings to see birds, led by Peter and Sandy and Oswaldo. First was a long hike back into the jungle/heavily wooded area to find the Cock-on-the-Rock bird, and there were good sightings and wonderful pictures. And then there was a lengthy outing up the valley, partially by truck and partially on foot, to see some of the most beautiful countryside and wooded area that one could ever hope to see. I had waited for many months to begin exploring the Intag, and I was not disappointed. As mentioned in other reviews, Peter is a very kind and generous person. I also want to give kudos to Oswaldo, Peter's right-hand person who is form the area, and knows everything. He will be our guide when my wife and I return in September with visitors from the states.

  Wow what a great place! Set in the middle of the cloud forest It is very well set up.
  Peter, the owner is very generous of his time and is very knowledgeable!
  We will try and go back for sure.
