Great place for a relaxing vacation

Ups for the activities, food, rooms, views and hosts. Downs for the dance club, the movie theatre and swimming pools schedule. Sunset landscapes are amazing from Portete island.

The place is amazing. Very beautiful. The only bad thing is the internet service. Very poor signal in rooms. It's slow and expensive. Yes. It's not free.

Nice place. Wish the drinks were allowed in the pool. Plenty of activities and sights to see. Staff is very friendly. Gym is rather small though.

The place is fancy and the staff are friendly. Food was amazing good. Wifi is not free though so is not all included as posted. Administration is horrible though. Major complain is the 911. They do not have a doctor during the evening hours. In an emergency, if it's nighttime, your on your own. In my case there was an emergency around 2AM. The staff helped out as much as they could by traveling to Atacames (1 hr away) but no doctor there either. Thank God it wasn't that serious. Only one van was operational since one was down.
Meaning in a life or death situation, the odds are against you during late hours. During late hours, only a nurse is there to assist on minor medical assistance. It's an amazing place to have a great time, BUT just don't get hurt or feel ill during late hours. The feeling that no doctor is around I wouldn't wish to anyone.
This place is outdated as well, they still use keys for doors and a card for towels. If you lose your key, bracelet, or towel card, you have to pay a fee. Nowadays, with a bracelet, you can open electronic doors and other services.
This is my second time at this place. First time was great, but this second time that a doctor was needed, made a horrible experience.response / report this review -
