  Craig is no longer with us, but Lee has kept the book store running in his place. I always like to visit bookstores when I visit cities and towns, and I greatly enjoyed spending an hour+ exploring Craig's bookstore. I spent most of my time speaking with Lee about Vilcabamba and swapping life stories. It's $6 for a book or $3 if you bring one to exchange. There is a large selection, but not all books are easy to find or in the best condition. It's worth stopping by to take a look at the books and the handicrafts, but most of all just to talk to Lee and learn about life in Vilcabamba.

  Way too expensive for the books. Often the price of the used book is greater than the price of the book new. But they do have good customer service

  La mejor manera de reciclar libros con una persona que ama los libros. A veces debemos abandonar un libro ya leído (sobre todo cuando estamos viajando) pero si está en vilcabamba puedes pasarte y cambiarlos.
