Santiago is a legend. He was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Casa 1881 is spectacular, the bathrooms are beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable and the design is something you would expect in a luxurious hotel. This place was the most beautiful hotel we stayed in our entire South American holiday.

6 stars out of 5, Santiago its the best host ever, the rooms are beautifully decorated and built with a high ceiling, a big breakfast with an even bigger flavor, quality amenities, Netflix included, and top notch recommendations of places to see while there, hope to visit again

Fabulous. Close to centre of town but the meals served for breakfast were amazing, the rooms large and beautifully appointment and the management extremely helpful.

If you are staying in Riobamba this maybe your best choice. The owner is very friendly and helpful. As an added bonus he speaks fluent English. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds. Not to mention the best bedding I have yet had on my trip to Ecuador. Each room comes with Netflix if you just want to chill for a bit. The breakfast was very good and came with more than enough food.

A very nice(clean, elegant…) homestyle bed and breakfast budget guesthous!
The hosteler is very nice and friendly!

Elegant, clean and roomy with lovely decor and top end furnishings and fixtures, all at a hostel price. Great breakfasts, all done at a high standard.
