  I've been in and out of Tena for 12 weeks over the past two years and I always come back to Cafe Tortuga. Yesterday, I was there from breakfast to dinner working on my computer (on their amazing wifi). The staff has always been very patient with me, especially early on when I knew no Spanish and had to point on the menu (they have English translations on the menu). The little details make it feel like a cafe from Wisconsin (turtle napkin holders, turtle lights, bookshelves full of information).
  
  It's very obvious that the cafe is clean, as you can see right into the kitchen from where you eat (down to the supply of purified water and the various fridges). I trust everything they make me and it always delights me. They have vegetarian options (a great veggie burger!) and the best breakfast around. It's well worth paying a nominal amount more to know that your food won't make you sick and for significantly better wifi.

  Muy buen lugar para desayunar, y comida ligera. El ambiente es calmado, la atención muy buena. La comida la preparan con amor, es muy rica y sana. Hay buenas opciones para vegetarianos. Recomiendo el café, chocolate y el té helado. Las hamburguesas son muy ricas (tanto las de carne como las vegetarianas).
