My favourite coffee shop on Ave. Republuca del Salvador. They have an excellent taste in both coffee and pastries. Jaru has a small bakery section with fresh bread and pastries. You can order all their drinks with non-lactose milk. I recommend their green tea latte and green tea cake. Lovely furnishing and ambiance. Bilingual and friendly staff.

Great menu. Very comfortable place to just relax and chat with friends. It is hard to find parking around the area so I recommend you walk there. If you must take your car be mindful that the area is known for thieves as Parque la Carolina is just around the corner. Leave it always somewhere where a guard of caretaker are patrolling.

It's a quiet and beautiful place. Perfect for studying or working, or a casual meeting with friends. The coffee is great, although I didn't like the desserts too much

Although Cafe Jaru lies near the very busy Park Carolina, this place is perfect if you want to enjoy your coffee. There is a lot of seating, some very comfy, some perfect, when you want to work on your laptop. The food is mainly deserts and I especially love the cheesecake! Always tastes fresh! Highly recommended!
