This place is like heaven! I totally recommend staying there for at least 4 nights! The staff especially Edmundo are so nice and caring and the area has a lot more to offer than laguna Quilotoa. The food is delicious and we could not fotget the banana bread ;) the rooms are beautiful and furnished tastefully. Everything is thought through and ecological. We loved to stay in the Black Sheep Inn!

Warm, cozy rooms, with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent facilities and clearly well thought out, eco friendly design. The food was excellent and plentiful, with snacks available throughout the day. Definitely coming back for a longer visit !

Really really good spot for accommodation while completing Quilotoa. Prices are a bit on the high side with a dorm costing $35 per night but that does include all food and a packed lunch for the next day. Possibility to negotiate price as well. Free tea, coffee and buns/biscuits/cookies in the kitchen all day. Hot tub was a bit ridiculous as it was more of a paddling pool but sauna was good. Would definitely recommend this place if you don't mind paying a bit above average for the area. Shoutout to the manager who was very nice and showed us the way in the morning to our onward hike for that day. Nice guy.

Beautiful relaxing get away. The food was fantastic. The room was lovely and comfortable. I would stay again. We took the horseback riding tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and kind. We had an amazing afternoon tour of the area and cloud forest.

Possibly my favourite place on earth. Despite being an eco lodge with the likes of composting toilets (actually my favorite feature as they are beautiful rooms with gardens inside) it felt luxurious. The included breakfast, lunch and dinners are delicious and the views are stunning. The amenities are excellent. Lots of patio space to enjoy the views, gardens, a large yoga studio equipped with what you will need, a large sauna and cute outdoor hot tub that are heated by fire. Rooms are decorated comfortably with local art and blankets and have a fireplace. Water was always hot. Constant free snacks are delicious. The host is kind and available at all times of the day. Many well described hiking and adventure options run right from the lodge at minimal or no cost. A brilliant place to stay.

It absolutely earns it's great reputation. The food is amazing. Possibly the three best dinners I've had in 4 months in South America. They pack you lunch for the next day. The staff checks in with every guest each night to give them advice and set things up for you if needed. Our dorm cabin did get a little chilly at night but there are plenty of blankets. Free coffee and sweets avaliable 24/7. We stayed 3 nights and would do it again.

I stayed here for 1 night and am pleased with everything. There is a really nice patio with a awseomwe view. The food was pretty great (including free banana bread, cake and coffee). They also do a good job of showing you the options for activities.

Maybe one criticism is the outside areas like grass and so on could be better kept but overall the place is a real great!

My experience here is beyond words. To wake up in the morning above the clouds is an awe inspiring experience. Eduardo was a great host and manager. He truly cares about each and every guests that come in. The vegetarian food for breakfast and dinner, peaceful environment, and friendly compassionate staff makes Black Sheep Inn one of my favorite places to visit.

The company of both staff and other guests made the stay incredible, and with the beautiful environment and amenities, this is the place to stay!

I had a fantastic stay at the Black Sheep Inn Ecolodge in November 2016. From the delicious three course vegetarian dinner I shared with the other house guests (followed by a magic show and card games) to the directions for continuing my trek up to the Quilotoa crater lake to the to the incredible community atmosphere and beautiful location the Black Sheep Inn was all I could have asked for. Thank you for everything!!

Don't stay at cloud Forest, this is the hostel to stay at during your Quilotoa hike. Free unlimited banana bread, carrot cake, tea, coffee, and breakfast. The sleeping accommodations are cozy and clean.
