Fantastic place, a real natural experience- the staff are excellent and the location and environment is perfect for those looking for an eco retreat. The rooms are basic but very well done, and the showers are hot. The trails are well marked and the guides are experts.
The food is a little expensive for what it is, and there is only WiFi available in the reception area - but all of this is secondary to the experience of feeding hummingbirds.response / report this review -

This is a special place. Amidst the wilderness of the cloud forests and overlooking a scenery of extraordinary beauty sits this lodge with a handfull of houses. Trails start right from your room, you can hire a guide or explore by yourself with a map they provide. Staff is professional and friendly, rooms simple but nice (a bit damp, but that seems inevitable in a cloud forest). Incomprehensible for me were the prices in the restaurant (26 US$ for a tasteful but simple lunch or dinner, that would cost you 5-8 US$ in Quito), but maybe you just take that as a sponsoring for the reserve. You need a 4WD car or a motorcycle to get here.

Absolutely stunning way to witness hummingbirds! Lovely lodge with domo area for more simple experience or standard rooms in GERMAN, or bambo house house lots of stunning vegetation views and lovely stuff. This is a true nature experience . New species discovered OLingo so up for grabs the news for nature and animals lovers

An amazing destination and a great place to visit on the way to the Galápagos. You'll be guaranteed to see hummingbirds, beautiful plants and fog-covered valleys and may even get a glimpse of a toucan or monkey.
